Are you living what you say you believe?

Are you living what you say you believe?

All too often I see and hear from people who "say" that this or that is true for them, however, they aren't yet living the words. And many of those who may be walking around in the mental fog of overwhelm, helplessness, lack and limitation aren't even aware that their world is formed by their thoughts and feelings and brought into manifestation by their words and actions. And as a result they continue to use words and take action which holds them in a place of limitation, bitterness, anguish and despair.

I know that's not true for you; is it? Hummmmmmmmmmm?

Some-where, some-when, some-one just had the thought, "Well, not 100%." Good for you! Recognizing that there is work to be done and that you CAN do it is a giant step forward.

I firmly believe that you can change any aspect of your life by the thoughts you think and the words you speak. However it is sad to see that most people stop with the words and never take the next necessary step. That step is to take action with faith, trust and knowing that all of your needs, wants and desires are full filled NOW.

Can it really be that simple? YES. It is that simple, however, it's not always easy.

Recently in a metaphysical Bible discussion class one of my students volunteered to explore in depth a challenge she is having. She's not very pleased with her housing situation. The house is always a mess, she and her husband "...wouldn't dream of inviting people to the house." And state that they have told their children (who are in their teens) not invite and/or bring any friends to the home. Too embarrassing.

I asked, "And, it's not cleaned up because?" In the next fifteen to twenty minutes we went through the "he" won't help and all the other outer stuff. It finally came down to this.

While I say that I want a lovely home, I live in a less than perfect [for me] place because... The budget is "tight" and the "cost" to have some one do the work and have all the stuff hauled away would be a burden.

We say we believe that God is our Source (... this day our daily bread...) and yet, in this instance we aren't living it. We say that we want good in our life and yet, in this instance we aren't living it.

Allow me to share with you what happens when you step out in faith and trust.

A retired couple living in a mobile home park and on a "fixed" income had a sewage problem. Raw sewage was backing up and coming into their home through the shower drain. YUCK!

They knew this had to be corrected and yet there was a lingering doubt as to the ability to pay for the sewer service. Knowing that God is their source (and yours too!) they stepped out in faith and called the Roto-Rooter service.

The technician who responded told them that he was happy to get the job as "... work was slow." As he went to work neighbors of the couple came forward and said that they too were have a sewage problem. The management of the community was called as the problem wasn't just with one home; it was on a community line.

When one person lives what they say they believe look at the result:
1. The couple solved their problem, no sewage in the shower.
2. Their neighbors solved their problem.
3. The service technician completed this job and received a contract to work on ALL the other lines in the community.
4. The management gave the contract for the additional work in the community and PAID FOR ALL THE WORK.

Look at the number of lives touched in a very good and positive way by one phone call. And I know that the good continues well beyond that which we can see in this story.

What's keeping you from living what you say you believe?
