Into 2010 - Happy New Year

Happy New Year !
It's been very busy here as we moved thorugh the 26 Day of Christmas and into this New Year.
Candlelighting was a truly blessed event although we were in heavy fog.  Thank goodness that Santa has Rudolph (grin)
So much for the reasons why it's been a while since I've written you a note.  Our goal this year is to reach out to you at least every two weeks and maybe even more.

By the way Our bi-monthly newsletter is ready in PDF form and you can pick up your copy by going to:  Http://www.unitymedford.org/pdf/1001newsletter.pdf

We have also made available the Silent Unity Prayer Service for both January and February. Each wednesday we physically come together in the chapel, pray with you and others who have requested prayer ans use the Silent Unity Service as a guide. If you can't be physically with us we invite you to connect with us in prayer. Here are the links:

Now, onto our subject for today...
Any Job You Want

You CAN have any job you want.

You do not believe that, do you?

That is why you do not get the job you want now; you do not believe you can get it.
Did you ever hear Mark Twain's advice to the young seeker after a job ?
He said something like this: "Pick out the man you want to work for, and then go and work for him. Tell him you are going to work for him for nothing till he decides you are worth something, and how much." That seems an absurd piece of advice. However, it will certainly work when you really put it into practice.

Here's why. You wouldn't even take this step unless you believed you would be of value to the employer. We all want a place of employment where we are needed and appreciated and where we have something important to give and to receive. We want to be blessed and be a blessing.

When I was looking for work I used this affirmation and I highly recommend that you use a similar one should you be looking for employment...
"I am a beloved child of God. I trust God to guide me to the place of employment where I will be happy, fulfilled and prospered."

Need help with an affirmation? Leave a comment on the Blog, or send me an email and we will work together to develop who you will BE, so that you will be guided to DO what will bless you, in order the you will HAVE all the treasures of the Kingdom.

In Oness,
Rob
