The Reason For The Season

"And to whatever house you enter, first say,
Peace be to this house.
And if a man of peace is there,
let your peace rest upon him;
and if not, your peace will return to you."
Luke 10:5-6

Dear Ones,

This Holy season, when we honor the birth of the “prince of peace”, can and should be a time of unfoldment and spiritual growth. Each day take time to allow your spiritual quality of peace to find expression. Take the opportunity to share the blessing of peace wherever you may be – at work, while you are in the mall shopping for your loved ones and in your home. It is spiritual law that whatever you give out comes back to you. As you give blessings of peace, peace blesses you.

I invite you, your family and friends to join us as we explore Faith, Peace, Love and Joy on the Sunday’s during Advent which begins November 30th. Advent wreaths, candles and special times with family and friends sharing hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies are all outward things to do during this sacred season. However, they are only a part of the story for this is also a time to prepare for the spiritual rebirth – the rebirth of awareness of your Christ nature.

Throughout my life a very special night has been, and will continue to be, our Christmas Eve Candle Lighting celebration. Wednesday December 24th at 7:00 p.m. is an opportunity to let your Light shine and share the Christmas story with song, praise and thanksgiving.

And so, dear ones, my prayer for you this Christmas: a heart full of joy, gladness, wisdom and the blessing of peace.

In Oneness,

Rob

P.S. Should your schedule not permit you to be in church on Sunday, you can join us “live” via the internet by going to http://www.UnityMedford.org/live/
