Feeling broke?

We keep hearing of those who are struggling these days. I hear about those who have trouble making the house payments, fueling the car and more… Is this happening to you? If so here are three things you can do, right now…

1. Boost your Esteem.

Anyone who is down on their luck is feeling bad about themselves. They may even have given up. You can look within and find the courage and power inside yourself to know you can and will survive this.

Think about this… Determination comes from within you. You simply say you WILL do it and then you begin TO do it.

You have to encourage yourself, even when the going looks less than what you desire.

You have to be there for you. And you can do it.

When you don't feel you are worth it, you will focus on the negative and stay right where you are.

Here’s a “how to”… Go to the library and read positive books, borrow positive movies, and do what it takes to begin to feel good again. You deserve to BE the best you you can be.

2. Re-connect with the Divine.

I’ve been told that I have an “advantage” because I was born and raised in Unity. However, as all teens do… I too worked diligently to deny the truth of me. That doesn’t work (it didn’t work for me) and finally I would look at a problem and I’d turn it over to God.

I'd basically say out loud, "Lord, I have no idea how I will pay these bills, so I'm asking for your help."

Somehow those bills got paid. In fact, today all bills are paid.

But I had to surrender to something wiser than me. After all, I got myself in the hole. I needed something smarter and greater than myself to get me out.

You can do this, too. Even an atheist knows there is some force -- call it nature, the universe, whatever -- that appears to be running the show.

Well, ask whatever name you use for help.

What would it hurt to ask? In fact, I’ve discovered that until you do ask, not much happens.

3. Take action.

When people ask me how I came to BE doing what I love to do, I always tell them it was the relentless pursuit of a vision of who and what I desired to Be, Do and Have.

I never gave up.

I kept taking action.

I took many different jobs along the way, too, some of which I hated, but it all helped me survive while I learned to change my beliefs and thrive.

Action is a key to success.

Even when you're nervous, uncertain and maybe downright terrified of what to do, taking action always clears away the brush and helps you move forward.

Always.

When you work on yourself, reconnect with the Divine, and take action, you are doing what it takes to get yourself back on the road to prosperity.

The above may seem simple, and maybe easy to dismiss, so let me be more direct.

1. Do you believe you can pay your bills, get out of debt, and find freedom? Better stated, do you believe you *deserve* it?

2. Are you spending time meditating or praying or in some way reconnecting to The Source that keeps you alive?

3. Are you taking inspired action? More directly, are you doing *everything* you know to do to get ahead? Everything?

If you answer these questions with ruthless honesty, and then make the changes needed, you'll find a new day coming and a new you coming into being.

Don't give up.

The world needs you. And so do I...

Lovingly in His service,
Rob
