What thoughts do you hold?

Recently it occurred to me that one of the challenges I have, from time to time, is the tendency to literally take a statement rather than look at it from the perspective of the Truth as I know it. So to see and/or address what enhancement I intend for my life and the lives of others I must take a few moments and be clear on what the concept it self means for me. “What we think becomes our life...” from a literal sense is a great base. However, there are some living experiences which could, if not addressed, become a block to an increase of awareness of my Oneness.

It is NOT an individual thought I “think” that becomes my life, rather it is those thoughts HELD in mind that becomes a belief system and the system then demonstrates as my “…life at any particular moment.” A fleeting thought is just that fleeting. This is the control which is addressed in the concept. I recognize the passing thought, give it no power (for it has none on its own) and turn back or re-turn to the Truth of me.

From that place in consciousness (God expressing as me) I am open and aware of the unlimited potentiality that is mine to claim. When I claim any aspect of the Truth, in that moment, it expresses as my Life. Yep, Life with a capital L. Anytime one of us expands his or her awareness of Oneness (God) and expresses it in our world the collective consciousness comes closer to the Knowing of Oneness (God). So even should I choose to DO nothing other than as stated in the last sentence I will have enhanced the lives of others.

However, that is not who I see myself to BE. Rather I see the practice of this concept as a tool to be shared with my world that others will know that they too have the potential to BE the Masters of their thoughts, situations and circumstances.

Having made the choice to BE the Master of my thoughts I KNOW that I will know what is mine to DO. Perhaps the very first action was this very paper. Or perhaps, the thoughts brought together to express it, or the discussions of what discovering the Power is all about.
What seeds (ideas) have been planted that will come into expression? What wonders of living will I experience and share with others? What have I already shared as a result of THIS experience that will affect the life of another?

I may never know, however, this I do know; by taking this course, by playing with those who came together to teach and learn and reminded me what is True of me I am expanding my awareness of Life. As I bring that awareness into expression, my world, your world, our world becomes joy filled and abundant. Then each of us can also say that we came “…that they might have live, and have it abundantly.”
